Nestled in the beautiful city of Puyallup, Washington, our small, TICA-registered cattery is dedicated to raising exceptional Ragdoll kittens.
Hi, my husband and I have 5 children, 3 daughters who still live at home and who are home schooled. This means these babies get unlimitd love and affection around the clock. These babies hit the ground socially and are extremely affectionate because of the environment they are raised in.
These cats aren’t just pets; they’re family. When we sought the perfect feline companions for our home, we knew we wanted affectionate, playful, and loyal cats who would thrive on love. The Ragdoll breed was the perfect match for our family, especially with three young girls who adore them.
At Akela Ragdolls, we specialize in Lilac, Blue and Chocolate Ragdoll kittens, each one raised with care to be healthy, well-socialized, and utterly irresistible. We also produce show-quality cats that stand out for their beauty and temperament.
Ragdolls are known as “puppy cats” for a reason—they’re incredibly playful, easy to train, and love being by your side. With their captivating blue eyes and endearing habit of going limp in your arms, they make the perfect, loyal companions. Raised alongside our children, our kittens are laid-back and well-adjusted, making them an ideal fit for any loving home.
The name Akela means graceful and noble, just like our beloved Ragdolls. These indoor cats, with their silky, medium-to-long coats, require minimal grooming and a lot of affection.

All of our Ragdolls are on the best quality of Vitamins and supplements around the clock. They are on the Breeder’s Edge program and they never lack in their nutrition, as that is invaluable. Not only in their health, but also in the health of your kittens. They get a combination of dry and wet food daily as well.
They are all genetically tested for HCM and all have tested negative as well as have had a full genetic panel test and have cleared on all their tests as well as they are registered with TICA.
